I'm glad to have a week break after exams before the second semester starts. It has been a while since I felt so bored. And strangely enough, it feels quite good to have nothing in your mind. I hate having to think about all the courseworks to hand in and the things I need to study. I hate having to wake up early and walk to school especially on windy days. And I hate coming to lectures which I find pretty useless since everything discussed there is posted on the Blackboard. I have one weekend left of boredom ganya :(

My favourite module so far would have to be Architecture. There are only like 13 of us in the class so it is really informal. It's the only module yang I pay a lot of attention to. My current assignment's designing a house based on an architect whom I studied about, Peter Eisenman.

Apparently, this dude likes to mess the structure up and designs building which does not follow the function of the building. In other words, he focuses in breaking up and manipulating the structures of the building in a way that he wants to express. For example, his house yang I studied, "House VI" involves intersection of four planes and manipulating them to form some sort of  house. Usulnya macam berantam wah, cos the bedroom does not allow a double bed (there's a wall separating 2 single beds for the married couple living in the house). HAHA.

Anyways, I'm supposed to be designing a house following his philosophy and principles and I find it rather fun, antam-antam design rumah, rather than what my classmates are doing now, design rumah and pikir-pikir jua how to make the house function as a house. HEEHEE. I can even create an X-shaped wall or a tiang from the ceiling or whatever. Or a cone-shaped kitchen. Go Crazy.

My last 3 paragraphs were a waste of 70 seconds, right?
